LA Bag Ordinance Update

This past week LA city voted to ban single-use plastic bags in grocery stores only. An EIR (Environmental Impact Report) is required before the council can move forward with the ban and will conclude in the next six months. Following the EIR, a six month transition period will be provided to assist grocery stores. This ban is likely to take affect in 2013.

Please note this ban will NOT effect restaurants and other retailers.
